Community Involvement

Community information and engagement is a very important aspect of the Civic Place Project.  Through a community relations program the Civic Place project team ensure that there is ongoing community involvement.

Community engagement programs that are currently being undertaken include;

• Community information stalls at special events. (Chinese New Year)
• Please be Seated – Fundraising Program (Ongoing)
• New Civic Place Website (Launched February)
• Subscription to e – newsletters (Launched February and ongoing)
• Demolition and Construction Web Cam ( Launched February 08)
• The Community Billboard project – The Civic Place site hoardings project
• Public Art projects (Ongoing)
