Bicentennial banners

Bicentennial Banner detailThe Bicentennial Banners, that were hanging in the Town Hall, will be hung on the southern internal wall of the new Civic Hall. They will be out of direct sunlight and protected by glass. Civic Hall is being developed by the project’s architects as the premier and most visible location for the new permanent display of the community’s most honoured and prominent works of community art. The banners have been assessed by conservation experts, and will be placed in custom built storage while the Civic Place project is completed.
